Share your precise location?
GroDiag can use your device's exact GPS location to make outbreak mapping and follow-up more precise for your specific field, alongside the country/region you type in. This is optional — if you say no, or your device doesn't support it, we'll keep using only the location you type below, exactly as before.

🧠 Ask your Agronomist
AI crop intelligence for every farmer, everywhere.
GroDiag was built on a simple belief: every farmer deserves access to the same quality of agronomic advice that large commercial operations take for granted. Whether you are growing maize in Ghana, tomatoes in Florida, or rice in the Philippines, you should be able to get an accurate, actionable diagnosis in under 8 seconds.
GroDiag combines AI image analysis, real-time weather data, verified national pesticide registers, and regional soil science to deliver diagnoses that are grounded in actual field conditions, not generic advice. Every recommendation is calibrated for your specific crop, country, and current weather.
The platform diagnoses fungal and bacterial diseases, viral infections, insect pest infestations, weed species, and nutrient deficiencies. For soil analysis, it combines satellite and drone imagery with regional soil science to estimate pH, nutrient status, moisture, and erosion risk.

What we collect
If you create an account, we store your email address and your diagnosis history. Diagnoses include: crop type, country, district, disease name, severity, and the AI result. We do not store uploaded photos or satellite images after analysis. At signup, you may optionally provide a phone number — this is never required to create or use an account. If you grant permission, we also collect your device's precise GPS location and a timestamp at the moment you run a diagnosis; if a photo you upload contains its own embedded GPS and capture time (EXIF metadata), we read that too. See "Location data" below for details.
Location data
GroDiag always lets you type in your country and region manually, and every diagnosis works fully on that alone. Precise location is entirely optional and additive: (1) when you open the Diagnose page, we ask — with a plain-language explanation, before any device prompt — whether you'll share your exact GPS location; if you decline, or your device doesn't support it, nothing changes and we keep using only what you typed. (2) Separately, if a photo you upload already has GPS coordinates and a capture date/time saved in it by your camera or phone, we read that from the photo file itself, without any extra action from you. Both are used only to improve outbreak-mapping accuracy and let you verify when and where a diagnosis was taken; neither is shared outside GroDiag's own systems.
How we use it
Your diagnosis history is used solely to power your personal History page and the anonymised regional outbreak map. We aggregate diagnosis data by region (never at individual level) to show seasonal disease pressure trends. No personal data is ever sold or shared with third parties.
Guest users
Guest sessions are entirely ephemeral. No data is stored server-side for guest users. Usage counting is done locally in your browser only.
Third-party services
GroDiag uses Supabase for authentication and data storage (GDPR compliant), Anthropic's Claude API for AI inference (no data retained per Anthropic policy), and Open-Meteo for weather data (no personal data shared). These providers may process data in the United States and other countries in which they operate; where required, appropriate data transfer safeguards are in place.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing aduteyejusticej@gmail.com. We will process deletion within 7 days.
